Would'nt it be great to see the federal/state govenments one day open up certain parts of forests to off road enthusiasts. What I'm saying is that an Atv club in the states has come to an agreement with a mining corporation, by which it uses the mining company's land to ride on for a set price Cool Cool Cool Now the amount of land we're talking about here is 72 000 Acres now that's alot of land eek eek eek Each user is cherged a set price and given a "Land use permit" weather it be for 1,2,3 day's or a week, you also have the choice to pay for a 12mth permit for $88:00 Cool Cool Cool May-be one day the councils will take a step forward. But until then they'll keep using the same old excuses saying that it's not environmentaly friendly or some BLAH, BLAH,BLAH excuse. But on the other hand, if they thought about it positively the money they made from the permits could be put back into the land that is being used Cool Cool Cool For example grading/grooming tracks once a month, placing rocks over rutted out sections of trails which kills two birds with one stone. First of all it slows the erosion process whilst giving trail riders a permanent trail to ride Cool Cool Cool Oh well I just thought I'd give us all a bit of food for thought laughing laughing laughing
