| At least one of the Wades will be going now. BIG thanks to all who got in touch. Jono's got his bike and gear transport arranged with a very grateful thanks to Adam @ Quad Squad , also thanks to Ando and Ainsley for getting him to the track and Allan Linger for taking him back to the airport and thanks to everyone else whos offered to help out making sure he and his bike are is fed and watered !! . This will make it his 5th Nationals. Thanks again. Wadey |

The Track is excellent and IMHO if it stays dry has the potential to be the best National track for Quads to date ! Love it !

Found inexpensive accommodation in Stanley (approx. 18kms from track). We booked online at Stanley Cabin & Tourist Park. Supermarket right next door. Beach out front and a great communal bbq and kitchen facilities. $85 per night for self contained cabin with ensuite. Caravans are cheaper and if you have your own its cheaper still. They also have a backpackers hostel with lockup rooms. Plenty of room for the quads also.

just cancelled my booking. The spirit ferry line were really good about it and even refunded some of my deposit. I had also booked accomodation - which is now available at Stanley Cabin & Tourist Park

they have motel and cabin style accomodation there and are very nice - if anyone is looking.

Oh you know ,pinning tails on donkeys,eatin soup with a straw at the farm with a straight jacket on takes time ,Naa lets just say a bit of woman troubles. :/All good getting back on track and lookin forward to the nats !
If it stays dry the track will be easy and fast (except for the set of deep whoops that are close together  )See you there !

not sure of the order yet but i know entrys are down and cut off dates for the entries have been apparantly extended till 10th. mind you i was told that some peoples entries have not even gotten to the right place yet.

I believe Alan Linger local man from Tassie on a Can Am is back racing Quads and will be racing Next weekend at the Nats in Pro and Vets Class ,if he is in form there might be some upsets in pro and vets Correct me if im wrong but I believe he finished second to Tim Farr and in front of LB ?at the Australian Pro titles in 2003 ?
Dam and I was hoping for a Podium in Vets 
Oh well we will see how it all goes on the days ,apparently the track has been groomed,rounded jumps,whoops halved and widened to suit quads ,sounds good !
