Well I cant let the long weekend go by without going for a ride, so I just put back together what I have.
Still have to get plastics, Axel and plate. And I havn't put the 300 barrel on because I couldn't be bothered with all the jetting and stuff before the weekend.
A big thanks to Brett (my brother) and Ash (my brother from another mother) who had turns of rebuilding my bottom end after it was stuck in gear after my first attempt. Muchos gracious!

See ya's Saturday.

Knocked off work early today to get the old girl finished for the weekend. All went well, rode it up the street and everything was tops.
That was until i decided to put some decals on the swing arm.
I tipped it up on its side and propped one back wheel off the ground and started putting my shiny new PRO-LINK stickers on (they look great) and all of a sudden water and oil started pissing out of the water pump overflow hole.
It wouldn't be so bad except that its a brand new mechanical seal.

Not happy Jan!

Here's a few pics of what she looked like before I tore the side off the motor again.

Why would it leak only when I tipped it on its side and didn't when it was standing there normal?

Looks sweet Paul, is that a Clarke black tank or a re-issue factory part ?
I put a new mechanical seal in my rebuilt motor recently but i havent had that problem, seems very strange.
