###heads up### Finke 09  ,
on there web site it says no early bird entry next year  , entries for 09 are avalible on the 1st of January 09 and its first in by post only (500).
I got mine in to late last year so that want happen again  .
so who is going ????? lets get as many quads up there as we can; can't wait .

Good move Dom.
We'll all have to be pretty loud about advertising this around the quad community when the 1st of Jan hits.
Tell everyone you know with 4 wheels, and don't hesitate, just get your entries in.
I think there were something like 760 applications last year and they only allowed 503 of those.
There were about 50 something quads that made it in but a higher percentage of quads missed out because they were too late with their entries.
The previous year was something like 486 entrants in total...
so the way it is going there could be over 1000 people trying to enter 09.
Make sure you get in really quick.

Hey guys just some goss on Finke ( from Jordie and Glenn Auritch ) yesterday at our Stewards training.
Now they nodded but wouldn't say it 2 classes for quads under 451 and over 451 to 850. this means The dude in alice with Harley powered banshee will race. ( he's still got fit a exhaust thow) 2 South Africans are coming and 2 Yanks tbc though.
There will be some track changes due to several bikes and 1 quad cutting the track. I hope this is enough of a hint for this quad guy because we as quads have good rep in Finke. and Jordie knows who he is.

Yes that was hot topic yesterday. I believe they have 500 hundred for pro luge but not for the race. the excuses for not using them in the race was phone signal along the track for the auto loggers. We all know thats crap but transponders will come eventually

Fees have gone up by $20 to $480
I don't know whether you can put a hundred down this year.
Remember You must have a MA License which will cost $275 + membership to a MA club. If any one is interested I can do this for you with TQA . membership is $50 for a year.
I can't confirm this but TQA will be doing fuel for quads only. I will supply these guys with tents and equipment and trailers.
Maybe between us we drum up a sponsor and have some prizes for own quad guys on the side?
And Just for you Scooter and dingo I sewn that pillow into my seat this year.
It seems pretty poor that Smithy didn't get in the video (my opinion only)
I may have a quad for hire if any one needs one.

Offically only one class for quads . surprise they split Vet bikes and seniors. This year you must have a dust lamp on the back of your quad just like in Safari. Other than that get your entries in . There is a rumour that a certain club is going to buy 250 entries today.

I think the dust light can be the standard tail light in most situations. I do not believe it has to be as big as the dust lights specified for Safari.
