Further: Anyone in Adelaide who wants a close look at the Typhoon 125 we will have our sons out at our property this weekend. www.jams.on.net

Have only ridden in backyard so far 10 mins, changed oil etc, checked all bolts ....

first up impressions - it has a quality/well built look and 'feel' to it, compared to his previous 150cc ($1500 no name Taiwan thing) my younger had before ... Typhoon is simply lightyears ahead.

cheers
MD

EDIT: Here's a pic of my son on his taken Saturday 18th Dec

He (almost 13yrs) loves it, only took him him 20 mins to get used to having gears and a clutch (his previous quad was full auto).

Only negative is that this one has no starter motor, so its kick start only, its no big deal as it starts easily enough. Though they are supposed to have a starter motor ... (maybe there is one though we cannot find it).

The suspension works really well, that and it is so wide, and fairly low means it can ripped around sharp corners at will.

There are some other pics on the net,

Also a presentation video from a dealer expo in US which is interesting as presenter explains origin of various parts ... i.e rear axle is from a g-kart, (Typhoon vid at bottom left) http://atvscene.com/features/dealerexpo-06.htm
