Still officially TBC at this stage sorry guys, Swan Hill is on the cards but with the Canberra track not being available and the Juniors not being able to run in NSW the options are considerably narrower than they should be.

It will be listed on the QRCV site as soon as the venue is confirmed

I know its probably none of my business, but why not
think about having

WA State Quad Champs on July 4th as a round
the vic state titles as another
and the Nats in SA another round....(which would include a SA Title for their own riders the nats for everyone and tri states.. for those who entered the tri state series)

for vic's you have to travel twice for tri states
for WA you have to travel twice for tri states
for SA you have to travel twice for tri states
unfortunately for the NSW and QLD they would have to travel lots.

at least those 3 events are all locked in, and the tracks secured.
All allow juniors and seniors.

have other suggestions for double point Nats and drop a round, but lets see how this idea gets put down first Smile

Please accept my apologies for the lateness but due to unforseen circumstances we only received confirmation last night regarding our QRCV Tri State Series.

Please find the following press release regarding the above mentioned event.
All entries , supp regs, maps and accomodation guides will be found on the qrcv web site once released.

I hope the following may be of assistance and I look forward to seeing you all there.

cheers
Trudy

2009 QRCV TRI STATE SERIES IS BACK

If you have the need and greed for speed then this is the event to be seen at.
2009 will see the start of the race season with The QRCV Tri State Series back in full force promising riders from all over Australia the best quad racing on offer.

Entries are proving be bigger and better than last year with Pro riders from Western Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania already preparing their highly tuned ATVs. With the field being at its biggest it will certainly be a weekend full of entertainment with all riders showing us what these machines are capable of.

The New Year saw new race teams being announced so the showdown between
Can Am, Polaris and KTM just to mention a few will be very impressive with all riders wanting the thrill of the win

Pro Rider Ant Yewers along with Chris Brenton will make the long haul from WA to put a challenge to local Victorian riders Cameron Wade, Paul Smith, Aaron Ovens and Mitch Van Vliet. Qld rider Luke Beechey along with NSW riders Michael Roycroft and Paul Worth are also taking up the challenge. With such an elite field this is going to be one event not to miss.

Even the Junior riders are in for the battle of the victory. Local Victorian riders Adam Larson and Jake Van Vliet are itching to get out on the track and let loose on their finely tuned raptors.

Jumbo Juniors are coming out in full force with a huge grid and are sure to thrill the crowd with their skill and antics. These fierce but small quads with their rather oversized riders will be put to the test with E-Ton, Typhoon, Pro Shark, Honda and Suzuki all sharing the limelight.

Racing will include up to 13 classes including Juniors, Womens and Vets.

The first round is to be held at the well-groomed track of Swan Hill Motocross Club, which is promising to be a technical and hard packed fast track

The 2nd round will be held in South Australia on May 17th with the third and final round held in Central Victoria August 2nd.

Now that ATV racing is having such a huge impact on the entire motocross scene, racing at Swan Hill will certainly be a thrilling event to watch. With the generosity and support of sponsors there will be no doubt that this years Tri State ATV Motocross Championships will be supreme both in competition and organisation.

Full canteen facilities will be available at Swan Hill.

Yea, these fires in Vic are indescribable. I found out yesterday that 2 of our close family friends and their mum were all killed at their home in Strathewen. We were only talking to them a week ago. Absolutely heart breaking. Our thoughts go out to anyone who's family or friends have been affected by these fires.

Oh Mick - Im so sorry !!! Our thoughts and prayers to you and the family.

Aaron Caldwell and family lost their house in the Traralgon fires but are all safe thank god.

The mongrels who lite these fires should be put up on murder charges never to be released!

Take care
cheers
