Hi guys

Today I got my rego for my kfx700 and was a tiring event.

The rta people have no idea which is why I have a couple of questions.

I paid $303 in total.

admin $18
plate $36
ctp $249

Is this right? Also they gave me full size plates, as in car size? I think this is wrong but wasnt going to argue if im not sure myself.

Thanks in advance

I haven't rego'd a quad in over a year, but the price sounds right for annual.

No, you should get a motorbike size license plate. Just go back to the RTA and get a new one.

Yes, the RTA have no frickin clue about Stockton rego.

$303 to register a 700 for 1 year?

are smaller engines cheaper, and what is the cut off? 300ccs ?

Can you get registration for a shorter period? IE 3 or 6 months?

I just got rego renewals for my quads
Honda TRX 90 is $356
Raptor 700 $267

Honda is 7 years old and Yamaha 1 year if that makes any differance

That's all screwed up. It should be one flat rate per year no matter what cc it is.
They were supposed to work this out over 12 months ago.

The best rego office to visit if you live in Newcastle is the Carrington Rego Office.

This is the truck rego inspection station and the ladies there know what they are doing.

Just check on the hours of operation as they are slighly different to other rego offices.

I was sent there because the rego office I was trying to get the conditional rego at didn't have any number plates, I haven't gone to any other rego office for conditional rego since.

Is there a web site that covers fees for rego and how they are calculated?

Hi guys

Ok I got my number plate today, The proper one.

Question's,

Mount the plate front or back of quad? does it matter?
Rego sticker, Where and how do i display this?
As I understand it that certificate (purple paper)has to be with me at all times.
It does not have to be displayed? In my wallet ok yea?

Sorry for the newbie q's, I just want to be confident when I go to stockton and not be paranoid.

Thanks

The plate should be visible. Front or rear doesn't matter. I found my front bumper the best position.

Place the rego sticker and the 'purple paper' in a motorbike rego holder. Attach that to your bumper as well.

I think there more anal about the plate being visible than the rego sticker.

Have you got your Beach Access Permit? I think you'll need that too. Thats an extra 20 odd bux. The fishing tackle place at Sandgate has them and i think the servo at the start of Lavis Lane near the roundabout also sells them too.
