The Moto-x club here in Robinvale is having a 2 day moto cross on the 23rd and 24th of August so I want to get as many quad there as I can. They always have a fair few 2 wheelers but hardly even any quads except for 2 or 3 local blokes and I want to show them how good the quads are. If they can get quads they will have a class for them. It is just a normal 2 wheeler track but they say it is pretty good. Robinvale is about 80km from Mildura which is near where the TP300 was and if you didn't come to that because of distance you wouldn't be coming anyway. It isn't any nationals or anything special I just want to try and get a decent number there. So who thinks they might be able to come. ????
Doubt if anyone will come though We are just a bit to far away from everything I think.

Damn. Even if you are a trail rider come just so we can have quads there. It isn't any high class moto-x race either . The fastest guy is on a stock Trx450r who mostly just rides in the bush. It is just for fun.

Hey feral kid, there is 3 to 4 quad riders comin up to ride the mx on w/end from mildura & still another 6 riders here that would possibly come up in the future , half are buisy & the other are nursing injuries unfortunatley .... Quads are slowly gettin stronger in mildura this year & im hearing of more all the time , You stir up the robinvale boys & get them to the track racing & you mite get wat u've wished for .... "a resonable feild" . I hope to be there (watching) but unfortunatley I am the latest casulty here with a broken collar bone ... will c how things go ....

I think QRASA have a state round at Whyalla that weekend.
Unfortunatly, I'll be missing that one too

But throw something up here a couple of weeks before entries close and see how many bites you get.
Don't give up till the last minute because most riders come out of the woodwork at the last minute for any type of event

Yer i ddin't know this was on till only a few days before. Anyway we got 4 senior quads and 2 juniors. It was pretty good to watch. Some of the organising by the club wasn't real flash though.

Well got told by the presidents son today that his dad said that they don't want the quads anymore so stuff em i rekon. They rekon we are too slow.

Yeah. Its bull though. They say that the quads took an hour and a half longer than without them. That is the junior quads aswell. They thing that made them finish so late is that they were stuffing around with there entrees n stuff when they could have been started. They are useless. Practice was supposed to start at 8:30 - 9 o'clock. Didn't start till at least 10 probley 10:30 One of the quad guys I was talking to said he seen one kid in the practice to 6 laps when it is only supposed to be 3.

yeah its definately two wheeler mentality, when will they ever realise that they are only 'half' as good as us ill probably come up to a couple of events at mildura this year, ben hall normally lets me know when somethings on up there. i went to the arena cross, and that was awesome and ive been to a couple of other tracks at mildura, they sure know how to build a good track up there!

What kind of bike were you on at the arena cross? I was there watching.
Bugger the arena cross being on Easter. I will be in Bendigo.

on a white yamaha 450. did pretty average tho. thought i was on the down hill until tri state when i got 3rd in expert. the jumps at the arena cross are awesome tho. get some nice air off of them, i think i saw you when we were in the pits, im 18. you probably saw me but didnt know who the hell i was. when you turnin 16? gonna get a 450?
