ya right there yogie i was firm believer of this type of lock until mine got flogged although mine did only have normal gal chain etc mine were i floor below ground level and security wise was pretty good it just goes to show that the crims these days will go to any extreme to pinch anything and especially bikes.
As far as darwins concerned crime is of the hook with gangs and everything and this place is no were as big as any other city or some country towns to the point were there is a bashing or glassing attack everynight.
appart from crocs on the front page of the news paper everyday the crime takes up alot of the nt news and is really getting out of control.

for me and alot of people we know we dont even dare go out at night because of the 90% chance of ending up seriously injured because of gangs and the units that roam our streets.

sorry to sort of hijack this thread trav but its unbelievable how the law can let this get like it has it hurts everytime we walk out ot our cars and we have no shiny ktm's sitting there, and i aint bashing any hardworking copper that has to deal with it, its the pen pushin ones up high (sorry to the office workers on this forum not directed at all to your jobs).

anyway good luck with the findin the bike and i will def keep my eye out

cheers stewy
