If you are going to ride hard, get the 'X' model if you can.
You'll really appreciate the extra tunability in the upgraded X Package shocks.
Factory independent suspension all round with high and low speed compression and rebound adjustment on all 4 corners.
Feel free to PM me or any of the X Team guys for suggestions on where to start with settings etc. _________________ Can-Am X Team

g day andyjb71 i noticed your post is a little old by now have you brought one yet i have an 08 800 and it is great there are several querks that pop up but you get them with every make of machine but only one thing is major i think and that is the frame weekness but is easy fixed i will post some pictures if i can new to this posting stuff usually just read anyway here is the web address www.nyrocatv.com/techtip.cgi?viewcat=4&viewtopic=328 the frames bend if you hit something like stump or tree not square on they bend behind the rear lower a arm mount but this mod stops that and i am doing it this morning prevention is much better than cure one thing that is anoying is the manditory dealer visit to reset the maintenance reminder if your like me and do all your own maintenance more regular than is needed and its allways up to date thats a pain i have talked to some guys in the states and we are all hoping for a break through so we can hook up our laptops and do some stuff ourselves but alas they say it is imposable stealerships only hope this helps email me if you need anymore info _________________ riding quads is manditory

| Sounds like a good idea. Let us know how it goes. Any problems with welding the frame and the electronics on the bike even with the battery disconnected. |

no there isint any problems welding just disconnect the battery just behind the coner on the upper r/h side near the grab rail mount then take out the fuse for the ecu and the main fuse that isolates the important stuff even unplug the ecu _________________ riding quads is manditory
