| hey guys never hit the dunes before but i plan to in a couple of weeks i was discussing this with the boys wanted to know from someone maybe with expeirence.. Do you really need paddle tyres ?? cheers |

| No you dont really need paddle tyres out there,a good set of decent dirt tyres will work fine. |

| Don't need paddles, but make sure you let your tyres down to between 2-3 PSI and you find you can go just about anywhere. Up there every weekend, the place changes every week as the sand moves. Just don't go flat out off a dune and get hurt. |

| Do i need special protection for my air filter ?? will the sand get through it and into my carby ?? Do i need to get a permit to go riding there ?? is it necissary ?? thanks guys |

I just use a pair of stockings/pantyhose over my airfilter. Id get rego and a permit if i was you. Its only neccesary when the rangers are there!  _________________

| Rangers seem to be there a lot more lately.Been fishing a bit and see them all the time, never use to. Rego cost you about $104 ($135 for first time to get a plate) for 3 months, and a beach permit is $30 for twelve months. Costly |
