Husky, Champ classes are the classes that MA have deemed to be considered Championship classes and they are the ones that will be listed in the MA honour roll in next years MOMS book. Having said that , the event promoters can have apply to have classes upgraded to championship status if the are going to be well subcribed. (I think?)
Donna, I notice that the usual jumbo junior capacity limits are wrong for 4T again (110 instead of 125 just like the last 3 years supp regs) _________________

I find that hard to understand why this is so. In my View the support class are just as important as the champ classes . Is there any at MA that have any Idea or was the advisory committee involved again. We are travelling a long way as many others are to realise 11 out of 17 riders we are bringing don't really matter. what do you think petew? _________________ Truth and Honor and Trust ... never under estimate Them. |

The Supp Regs were ammended through the NQAC and were to be redone, they are in the process of hopefully getting the new Supp regs up with the changes done and your query was one of them Pete, hopefully MA will have that done today??? |

I would say at the track would be the go, that way we can all be at presentation to support the event, then have a big slap up meal that the QRASA have organised (don't forget to order it when you enter the event) then we can all sit back and watch Smitty make a dill of himself. After all, that is pretty much guaranteed!

Dont know if its to late or not but i was wondering if can be organised for the pro's to do one sighting lap before each moto then pull up at the start line for the race. as its a bit daunting/dangerous that first lap at the speeds they will be going.
just a thought. |

Well one out of two is ok - Chris plays the video games - or would you prefer him to run the track fully geared for your entertainement Mr Smiffy
Have we ever done sighting laps before, I cant remember, you have practise to moniter track conditions. |

Its the Nationals, its racing, its a weekend away, we get to catch up with fellow riders that we dont see all year and you start this again on this topic, how about some positive feed and support for SA and encouragement for riders from ALL STATES, its obvious by the number coming from WA that also do the "support classes, that it doesn't worry them.
And Jono why are you not racing!!!! Have you had an injury!!! |

LOOK PESKY SHE seems to think bringing riders down to SA does NOT provide some positive feed and support for SA or encouragement for riders from ALL STATES
Oh and WA hrmmm thats where prize money is offered - you have to pay in cash for entry and chq in the mail for 1st 2nd and 3rd - thats 12months ago No wonder they don't mind anything
asking questions is a crime here
So why try

What you are saying about support classes is correct in a strange way.
Same as speedway V8 supercars all have support classes and always will have. Besides Vets all these so called support classes are hoping to become top Pro riders TRUE/FALSE one day it is what keeps half of them in it and dreams are a great thing.
You think these Pro riders just turned up one day at a track and decided hey we will be Pro's no they all started below and worked their way up.
And yes Cowchaser you may as well play video games in the pits cause you will score more pionts that way
And yep old55 officially they do not have sighting laps but unofficially they can enter in another class not win any races and use it as a sight lapping exercise as has been done in the past Cheers |

If that's all it is to you. I feel sorry for you. This is the event that all riders should aim to win. Put up in lights, on a pedestal. I want kids coming home saying I'm going win that next year. old55 is your young bloke going to walk though the pits with 200 posters and stickers signed for the kids? Smithy and Can am will. Beechey will.
Cheap shot about support for SA. SA a do a fabulous job, atleast juniors and seniors ride on the same day.

Huskygoat Have you lost the plot ?????
There was a race the Joe Byrd meeting in Darwin the kids OK the so called ( pro's ) that came up to race from W.A knew they had no show unless Joe mucked up big time. But hey it was a chance for these young ones to race and sorry if it was a competition to you but I know to my son it was a chance to see what the best was like along with another at great expense to them to gain nothing else but see. And yes as far as Smithy and Beechey with 200 posters it is great that they give them away to the kids as they are great ambassadors for the sport as they always, along with others have been.
But if thats all you want for the young quad riders of Australia is a "profanity removed" load of signed posters for them from the greats well I am sure there would be a lot of Parents that would like to know where to get these posters from and not go to the nationals but I am sure they all watch the Pro's race it is a bit like going to speedway and saying the juniors were great it was great them sprintcar drivers where only here to give out signed posters cause they did nothing on the track to make me look.
Sorry no disrespect but where are you coming from ??
And Husky as far as putting the kids on a pedastall goes hey if they got a place. There is a stage that every rider be it junior senior pro vet or whatever gets up on to receive their prize they are all equal up on stage 1st is first , 2nd is second and it does not matter who they are all classes are the same yeah sorry for rambling on but yeah cheers mick |
