sorry guys, it doesn't look like there will be any QRSA members heading up for this one. maybe next time if we get our heads around it a little earlier.
can anyone tell me if speedway is popular in their respective states?
i'm wondering if we don't start lobbying for an aussie quad speedway title series sometime soon.
my first thought was maybe something like a 3 round series and for example we could hold round 1 at pioneer park QLD, round 2 mildura VIC, and maybe round 3 gillman SA. obviously the track operators would need to be in agreeance and maybe other quad riders can come up with better suggestions too.
so far in SA we have had 6 competitive events at gillman speedway, utilising either a 4 or 5 rider standing start with each heat over 4 laps.
i will post a similar message in general chit chat too to see what level of interest may exist |

yeah i've got a dvd from a pioneer park meeting that included quads.
they only ran 3 lap events though is there any reason for that? |

Very Sad Day ,a Quad rider died in our race the MX Final.The Red flag came out 1.5 laps into the race and the rest of meeting was cancelled
Deepest condolances to his Family and friends
It was one of those freakish accidents and I was deeply sadened to witness this on the day
