Has anyone got one of these pint sized trikes??? I just scored one from a garage sale for $50!!!!! It had been under flood water for 4 days about 5 months ago.
After a quick wash, some fresh oil in the case, clean the carbie and tank and a new plug it fired up second pull and runs sweet.

50 Bucks Surprised Smile ya lucky bugger, they probably have the same engine as the LT50 quad and the JR50 mini bike..which are both pretty good machines......

Happy to email somebody some pics, I dont know how to post them here on the forum..... Rolls eyes
Oh and Grant, yeah, your right. The engine is identical to a LT50 quad. JR50's are a kick start engine, but that said, its exactly the same head/barrel/piston/rod setup. It goes well but fairly slow. Its geared quite low. Does good wheelstands with me on it.... laughing

Yeah, one of two. The others in bits at the moment waiting for a rebuild. Had another one which I was going to put the 200x engine I got off Green Human, but sold it to a mate. He stuck a Lifan in it and loves it. I stretched it 2 inches and fitted a 110 rear axle and carrier and also fitted and 90 rear brakes. Should have kept it......

Not sure if this is a total coincidence with the red fox stickers or plain dumb luck that I stumbled across these photos but that might well have been my trike as a kid laughing

I google image searched the alt50 to reference a pic of what bike I had on another forum, saw the red fox sticker and I was like, OMG, what are the chances eek

It could just be a plain coincidence, but given it's in NSW it very well might have been mine!

Shame the photo albums are at my parents, otherwise I might be able to find a pic of it in it's former glory.

Chris.

I have a similar story a bout a trike my old man bought new, cut it up and raced it... He found it in a motorcycle workshop destined for the tip 25 years later.

i got it off a farm near Kempsey NSW. They were having a garage sale......
I still have it. I cleaned it up, removed the restrictors, fitted a power pipe and re-jetted the carb. I has heaps more power than it did when I first got it. My kids have gave it heaps over the last 2 or so years and it keeps going! Its getting a little hard to start now, think its due for a set of rings. When I do im going to shave the head and maybe fit some alloy sprokets to help her rev a little better. The kids love it. They pop wheelies on it and fall off backwards, laugh their heads off, and go do it again!
Ive been looking for another one so I can fit a RM50 engine in it.......that would be interesting!
