Damn! Race in the heat wave. Wish I could be there.
Remember guys to drink LOTS of water and some electrolites, and stay away from alcohol the night before as that just dehydrates you more.
And keep it safe! The heat will effect your reactions so just drink lots.
It is actually getting cold here. I had to wear a jacket today! Brrrrr!! Never mind.... as Arnie says "I'll be back."
I want to see lots of photos and results as soon as possible.

| Topped 43 here today hey daryl should look at a twilight event at this time of the year or even a saturday night 1.5 or 2hrs then 1.5 or 2 hrs on sunday morning. Just a thought |

Due to the totally unexpected and extreme heat it has been decided to cancel the Cowangie enduro.
Although most of the riders were still willing to ride and people were still willing to help,the risk of injury to riders and volunteers is too high to justify this event happening.
It would also of been selfish and irresponsible of us to tie up the emergency services of a very small rural community during this heatwave.
I would like to thank all members of QRASA & QRVC and everyone else that I have spoken to in the last 24 hours for their understanding & support of this event been cancelled.
Nobody is more dissapointed than myself.
However planning has already started on a event to take place early next year.
CAN AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE CONFIRM WITH ME THAT THEY HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED.
