But I dont think im allowed the coppers charged me when I was 14 for shooting a slug gun in the back yard

Nah, you'll be right. Your not 14 anymore. PM me if you'd like to know how patient you'd need to be. 
When I was 14, I hid the thing. Cops didn't find it. Dad did. Ouch!
