Hey it's going to be Condo time again soon, so all you guys that have been sitting and watching Dakar this is the perfect event to get a feel for this type of racing.

NSW people your always bitching and sooking about there being no decent events in your state well this event is freaking awesome.

Entrys will be out on the 1st of Feb and they only take 100 bikes so get your "profanity removed" together and enter.

It's held in Condobillin right in the center of NSW over the Easter weekend

Anyone who need some advice on what they need feel free to ask

The date's for the Condo 750 this year are April 3-4......thats Easter long weekend.

The race is a navi rally similar to the Safari. It's 750km over 2 days in Condoblin NSW. You ride timed stages with road sections connecting each stage.

Enteries open on Feb-1, no early enteries will be accepted. Apparantly they will be accepting 100 enteries this year as there has been such a good following in the last few years.

To enter you need a......

National MA licence
Roadbook holder - Touratech, MD or Lunchox with 2 chopsticks
Odometer - ICO, TrailTech

I haven't been able to get the actual KM needed between refuels but you should be able to do it with a normal tank.

You would be surprised at how simply and cheaply some riders are able to set up for this race. Yes, last year some guy's just pinched a tupperware container out of mums kitchen cupboard, ran a couple of dowels through it and off they went. If you ever wanted to see what a navigational race was like, this is the place to start.

The Acerbis manual roadbook holder is a good unit but everyone I have spoken to who has one has sold it after it's first use and got a electronic one............manualy winding a roadmap is hardcore when you are travelling at speed, reading a map and reading your Odo........

Touratech will sell you a auto map roller for about $400 and you wont have any problem selling it second hand as the bike guys are always after them.

For anyone in Melbourne I will lend you mine for the race.

Just make sure it's for NSW... not QLD.
