Well the time is almost here to rebirth my 1987 Tecate T3,it was in a pretty sad state when i became the owner and i decided to bring,as its known now,KERMIT,back to his former glory...heres the list of goodies i have aquired so far for my dune jumper .........

*Brand new front and rear OEM fenders, luckily still available in the USA.
* Not satisfied with the bulky look of the OEM front fender i also picked up a special order Kawasaki Green Maier 250R front fender(they do fit) for a racier look.
*New PRM grab bar.
*Reproduction decals kit including all warning labels.
*Reproduction Shrouds from the USA
*Reproduction Headlight Garnish
*NOS DG Reed Kit........Thanks to JMC Racing
*New Fork Boots
*New UNI-Filter
*New grips and end caps

Im tossing up between a fluro green frame or a nice blue, jury is still out at this stage so the powder coater is yet to be informed.Other option is replacing the motor with a KX500 which bolts in with ease.

Jase
I have the Tecate decals kit going to the printers this week to get a spare set made so let me know the colour change you wanted and i will get her to do a set in your format.
That guy in the US with the tank covers is a D Head,im sure if we buy 1 it can be copied by any person with an industrial sewing machine then we can put them on ebay for $10 less with free shipping just to piss him off..HaHaHa

Hey Tony, that airfilter you got, does it fit any other applications.

IE: is it the same as what is found on a KX250?

The reason I ask is because I was at supacheap the other day and they have got KX250 airfilters for sale and I was thinking that they might just fit the Tecate

Yeah i saw them the other day as well,i checked the label on mine and it does say KX250,KXT250 and that the shape may not look like the original part but is a correct fit so maybe its a goer if so i might grab another one spare.
