Arenacross will incorperate 10 quads this year, running as a PRO Class with prize money to be paid, Sup regs will be avalible on the clubs website approx Wed 24/2/10, www.milduramotorcycleclub.org.au/
Nominations will NOT be taken on the day.
As more info comes in I will post it up here. Would be nice to get some quick Pro riders here to show the 2 wheel warriors how good quads are and to get some practice on there new rides before the season starts.
Hopefully we can secure some quad only events that the commitee is thinking about.

The info I have so far is taken from the Draft Sup Regs and is unlikley to change for Quads, link will be up asap,
Event, OPEN ARENA MOTORCROSS
Date, Saturday 3rd April
Venue, Olympic Park Mildura Arena Motorcross Track, 11th St West Mildura
Track Licence #, 6990
MV Permiy #, TBA
Event Contact, Brendan Gledhill 0419174225 or Brock Gates 0409331160
Entries Close at 5pm on Tuesday 30th March 2010
Entry Fee, $80 Senior per rider (Solos or Quads)
Classes of Competition, Quads - PRO Class
#of entries, 10 Quads Maximum
Race Format, 4 heats and 4 laps minimum, can be changed at promoters discretion
Awards and Prizemoney, Quad class $500 on offer to be split between placegetters
Practice, shall be 3 laps
Camping, Is not permitted by council law at venue, but there is nothing stopping extended power naps from occuring in carpark  for saftey reasons, showers and toilet facilitys there

Definate entries so far are, Mick Roycroft, Rob Booth, Aaron Ovens, Ben Hall and Jason Pope. Be interesting to see if Ben Halls home advantage will be good enough to keep ahead of the competition

Well I'm definantly not gunna line up against those fella's. Will definantly have to come down for a look though to watch it. Should be really good. Will have to sneak into the pits aswell to catch up with some of you.

Bit dissapointed so far, had 9 entries and then within a week all but 2 have pulled out, if anyone is thinking of comming please PM me asap to keep quads in the event.

My entry is in the mail, pretty sure Cam Wade is coming with me. Disappointing about the dropouts, hopefully there is still a good field.
Just so people know, you don't need to be a "pro" rider to enter this class, just show up and have a crack, the faster guys ride safe and don't bite.
I'm not a fan of the "pro" concept, there are very few guys in Australia who could even consider themselves pro's, I'm certainly not one of them. |

Well, after tonnes of emails to me previously asking when we could race at Arenacross and me working my a$$ off at the commitee, turning there 2 wheeler attitude around, and the comittee coping piles of crap from the 2 wheel riders who dont want quads and some are even boycotting this event because of the committees decision. Ive been telling them we have 9 definate "PRO" riders and 3 maybees coming and then one by one they have filtered off to only Aaron Ovens and Cameron Wade committing to it. The club now has the $hits with me and not real keen on quads again. But on the bright side I get to keep my own prize money I put up for the Quads.
