I just copy and pasted this from Full Noise it says thats quads are running! Clarkie whats the formats this year are they still going to treat us as 2nd class citizens? and give a little run on the prologue track or are they going to give us a real go?
Honda Australia will celebrate their fifth year as naming right's sponsor for the Hattah Desert event to be held in July near Mildura, VIC.
The Honda Hattah Desert Race is a four hour contest of will and determination that sees many of the country's best riders front up for the experience prior to the Australian Safari.
The North West Victorian Motorcycle Club, who has been hosting the event in its current format for over 10 years, will once again host the event from 2-4 July.
"We're very pleased to get behind the Hattah again this year," said Honda's Marketing Manager, Glyn Griffiths.
"It always ends up being a great weekend out for all of the Honda riders and is one of the best spectator events on the calendar."
"We appreciate the support given to Honda in and around town during the weekend, and really enjoy being a part of the festivities."
The race is fought out over eight laps of a grueling 35km loop through Mallee scrub land which includes everything from tight, technical sections winding through trees to wide open blasts through open paddocks.
The event attracts hundreds of riders with no cap on the number of entries.
The Honda Hattah Desert Race also features juniors and quads, as well as ironman and pony express divisions in the senior race.

Will send some emails and ring some people, but I think you have more chance of winning Finke on a Dingli Quad stuck in reverse than us getting a run at Hattah, Ive heard rumers there looking at even getting rid of Pony express and making it Iron Man only, Will post as soon as I know, Thanks

Riders Briefing prologue – 8.00am
Prologue starts – 8.30am sharp
Sunday 4th July –
Gates Open 7.00am
Riders Briefing 8.00am
Racing starts 9.00am sharp
Nothing about quads in there

Just got off the phone with Marg Tegart, There is NO QUADS at this years event due to lack of time over the weekend.

Come on over and have a go at the Indee 500 fellas. It's only slightly north-westish of Mildura and quads are more than welcome.
