Mick has gone overboard this year!
Added 6 to 7 km's to the track.
Put in a drag strip.
Got the road in rebuilt by the local council.
Graded the first part of the track into a highway.
Cant wait for the hotel to be finished. _________________ Thanks to

the only 2 bog holes relivant to us getting into TP from Pinaroo, are within the last 200 m from the track start finish line, and there very easy to drive around.
im sure a few flags can be placed in the way so people drive around. |

I got in last year in the dark with a Falcon ute, 6X4 trailer and two bikes, pretty fun. As soon as I stopped at camp I was bogged in the car park,
Sounds like it will be a much better road this year, no need to worry. |

Well I just got home and this race is just crazy. I can hardly walk because I am so sore but it was worth it. Will definantly be back next year for another crack though. Met up with some great people to and got helped out a heap by everyone. Thanks to Dangerman for helping me with everything, Grizzly and his family for feeding me well and letting me have a cruise on his Grizz, Roycroft for selling me a new chain so I could get back out and keep going and everyone else that I have forgoten to mention just for everything.
Thanks guys and girls. _________________ "If in doubt go flat out"

Just spoke to PeteW, he supported Smitty and raced at night on the his 700XX. He sounded shattered and reckons the event keeps getting harder every year.
Results: Overall
1. Cam Wade - PRO
2. Luke Beechy - OPEN
3. Paul Smith - OPEN
Heard the drags were a big hit too.....
Well done everyone. |

Had an absolute blast of a time , thanks to Mick and tiff , the best event in the country easily , it just keeps on getting better , , and hey Yogie its a bit hard not to get a third place when there is only 3 running in the class , so how about all you 4x4 guys get ur machines ready for next year , cos if you dont use it we will lose it , i dont know of any other event like this for our class so cmon and get it ready for next year guys .
I would also like to thank both the other competitors in the class for the support , and also to Tiff for giving me the push to do it when i had no intention of even competing in the event due to bad memories of feeling so sore after the 2008 event.
Thanks to all the other people that made the event a huge success _________________ 2012 Can am Outlander Xt 1000cc

It was great to see you boys strut your stuff.
I'm part off the 99% of our quad community that have never seen quads quite that mental before in real life.
Amazing stuff that looked awesome blasting into the sunset.
Make sure you bring all your mates next year because we learnt a bit on this first one, and i'm sure it is only going to be heaps bigger and better in the future.
