G'day, correct me if i'm wrong but does REVS do for quads what it does for registered vehicles?
I'm looking at a 700 raptor for sale (only just seen the ad) and the guy wants $3400. its an 09 model. either the bike is dying or dead or the guy who's selling it has no idea.
Still, even if it is hot, i would like to see the bike back in the owners hands. I'm not one for buying someone elses pride and joy when they didn't part with it the way they wanted!

I don't thinks REVS covers quads except maybe if it had been registered.

If it's a 2009 model and he's the original owner I'd get a copy of his receipt when purchased new. If it's paid in full and the receipt details match his drivers license, you should be fine. Only issue is if he financed it, it may be difficult to find out. The dealer may know though, particularly if it's through Yamaha Finance.

NOW THERE IS A IDEA!
If a register for ATV's, registered or otherwise, does not exist, wouldn't the members of this forum have enough numbers to get REVS to provide a listing?
To clarify, REVS is up and running and more or less works.
I would imagine that REVS would be aggreable if only 500 of our members indicated that they would like they're goodies to be listed.
