could someone fill me in on the gas dash
when ,where, whats involved, as my wife and i are interested in going over to wa and incorporating some quad riding/racing in our trip.
any information or ideas welcome.

The dash looks hectic was hoping to have my quad decked out and ready to go for it but dosent look like i will get down this yr to race may still head down to check it out.
Its run in a Station about 200kms outside of Canarvon. Over the weekend of the 28th-30th of october.
It used to be 500kms but i think this year it is down to 300 still along time in the seat.

| I think quads are all classed In 450s and all others together only 2 wheels have multiple classes, but yeah all that info is on the site |

Gash Dash is a three day Desert Race held in the Gascoyne Juction/Carnarvon area of WA.
There are normally around 35 Quads entered and the format is:
Friday is 10Km time trial
Saturday is 187Km Loop from Coonantha back to Coonantha
Sunday is aprox 317 Km from Coonantha down the Gascoyne River, finishing at the race track in Carnarvon.
I have done this race 3 times and the Finke twice and I prefer the Dash.

that`s good to know as heading out to finke for my 3rd time in 10 days, enjoy it and just thought the river run sounds pretty good too, plus a chance to go west. thanks for the input.
