Completely unintentional. Maybe I saw it before on here and just didn't conciously remember it. I didn't realize it had been done before until it was too late to change it. "They" would be 100% me by the way. I take full responsibility for it. I did the intro and surprised eveybody with it at the ride. Somebody else came up with Imperial Invasion though.

It wasn't until I saw this that I realized it.

That ride is officially named "Imperial Invasion" (it's at the Imperial Sand Dunes... hence the star wars theme). Not Sand Wars. I just threw Sand Wars on the intro because it looked cool. Very Happy

Regardless, my apologies if I stepped on any toes. It's going to be an annual ride and we may continue the Star Wars theme but it will always be called Imperial Invasion rather than Sand Wars.

Edit: Regarding the HD cameras and the mp4 format, you can use Quicktime Pro to at least trim the vids down to a useable length and even string a few clips together. It can't do anything fancy but it's also only $29 US so at least it's cheap. Some of the editors like Premiere seem to get along a little better with the MOV wrapper instead of the MP4 as well. You can use Quicktime Pro to "save as" a .mov real quick and easy without any image degredation.

I'm going to be switcing my whole rig to HD soon. Definitely before next Dune season. I've got a few simple HD vids on my youtube channel now that a friend of mine filmed with his GoPro HD. Insane image quality.

Edit #2: I just read through this thread and saw someone here is using the name Third Wheel Productions. I had been using it (well, 3rd, not Third but same thing). That was another unintentional thing. I can't really go back and change the vids that use that in their intros but I will change it for future vids. What's worse is I'm actually subscribed to jazz250r's channel. I just never noticed the Third Wheel Productions part before. D'oh! My bad!

Guess I should start keeping an eye on you Aussies.... lol
