Cameron Wade done the section in half the time of Todd Smith averaging... are you ready for this... 207km/hr! Todd Smith could only average 109km/hr in the same section.

Mid way through day 2 and it looks like Cam Wade has made up a heap of time on the leaders.

Luke Beechey has made some time on the Day 1 leader Aaron Ovens.

Smitty, Roycroft and McKay running strong.

Too close to call at the moment.

Just got a text from my brother, pretty sure the finish order was:
Luke Beechey 1st
Chad Mckay 2nd
Paul Smith 3rd
He didn't say 4th but i'm guessing roycroft
and he thinks he finished 5th.
Supposedly aaron has had a pretty big off, hopefully he's all good.

Trailer is doing good, for those who don,t know. The big red and blue race rig got the rear end torn out of it on the way home from finke. It got a free ride on the back of a tow truck back to Alice.
Some running repairs yesturday, a few welds and some wiring and all is good.
