At long last the QRCV are going to run an enduro event on the 15th of August 2010 at Flowerdale, the format will be a 3hr Cross Country enduro with 3 senior classes, up to 450, 450 to 850 and Vets 35+ Open.

There will also be 1.5hr Junior Enduro on a modified version of the same track with both 90cc and 300cc classes getting a go.

Camping will be available on the Saturday night but there will be limited facilities.

Supp Regs and Entry Form are now available at www.qrcv.com.au in the downloads section

if there is enough interest then we may extend the vet to 2 classes, there would have to be more than a couple though.....

Yes yogie you do, but it only has to be for the day if you like.

The loop will be pretty hilly, there is a good variation of terrain loam, sand, shale and big rocks although there will likely not be too much mud unless it rains on the day.

For those just getting a day licence. Will we need to fit a rear number plate and number backgrounds etc to compete?

There's 2 maybe 3 of us for the 35+ class so far, plus got another 2 blokes to ask yet.

yes you will need number plates (front and rear will be fine) pref black numbers on white back ground.

Ice cream container lids with pvc tape number are acceptable btw...
quads need tpo comply with MA MOMS section 22 and have the usual gear, nerfs, kill switch, plugged bar ends and be in general good order.

So does "up to 450cc" exclude all the MX bikes or are they all 449cc ?

I'm in. I want a 50+ class to !!!!
I'm in training in preperation so I dont make a fool of myself again...
lets hope there is lots of entrys so that the club will do this again.
We all bitch about not getting rides to go to BUT we never go to the ones that are organised for us...go figure.
I was a member of the QRCV a couple of years ago but due to work commitments (and taking 2-3 days recovery) were not able to get to many events.
Good on the guys that have gone to the trouble of doing the organising.
I have always said if the QRCV does more of these type of events I will re-join.

Bring on the 15th of Aug.
