So according to their statement if you have conditional rego on your ride that is valid during this period & you have been disadvantages by whats going on they will give you another 12months rego free, or have I read it wrong?

I feel very disadvantaged by this. LOL

What a lot of "profanity removed", we carnt ride in the only legal spot cause 4x4 carnt get on the beach, rec riders drivers have no problem with the track. there are other gazetted access points to get on stocko in the RVA but the worrimi & npws wont let us use them or wont tell people about them. as far the free bit if you are inconvenienced you get a free beach permit NOT rta rego, so if you just got rego forget about half of it. wake up worrimi & npws leave "profanity removed" alone you have wrecked it enough, i'm willing to say that stocko will become like the beachs up the myall lakes, no car's can go north from the access road. this will happen at stocko as i herd this from a ranger, untill people stand up & say enough is enough they will do what they think is right witch every one can see, ha ha ha.

It's being done because thew 4WD access crosses Worrimi freehold land at the moment and if anything goes wrong in that area there is no insurance cover.
The National Parks approached the RTA about some form of compensation for rec rego holders but the RTA has decided that it's all too hard and we just have to wear it.

it's got nothing to do with movie companys wonting to film movies up there dose it, fat cats & there money get wont they wont & we get to bend over. why car'nt we use the access road behind the new estate on nelsons bay road near fullerton cove road, it is a perminent beach access point that access the beach in the RVA, why not? because that would be helping out the RVA user's & the worrimis & npws dont wont to do that & how would they set up there gravel nartzi tent & kick back all day getting paid, there only there to make it harder for hard working aussie who try to enjoy them selves.

only because they ar'nt interested in listening to what the user's of the area say, what is needed more a new track. there is a perfectly good one there or toilets, fresh water, tables chairs, more area to ride in safly huh.
how could saying what people think make it worse, thats right we USED to live in a free country, car'nt they handle critacism, if they are that soft then they can find another occupation or wake up, harden up & listen to the user's. Oh yeh how much flora & fauna will be killed disrupted disturbed scared away with all the heavy machinery up there, clever thinking NPWS but of course RVA user's cause much more .

Guys, eight weeks is nothing. Things are happening and somebody is spending money making our play area better. Do the maths - take out the insurance money and we give very, very little money to ride in an amazing place.

I'm the first to say the riding area is wrong - there are (were, practically speaking) better places for us. But that is stuff we need to work with others on. None of us own the land. None of us have put up money to buy the land. We have to live with others. We are a minority that would love to have some of the best land in Australia put aside for us to use. Lets get smart about how we go about acheiving this. If we carry on about little things nobody will (or should) listen to us in relation to important things.

I don't care if the work is being done for a movie or for rich people to get richer - if their money is used to build a better track to my play area and one day I end up sitting back enjoying a Sunday arvo instead of digging my 4wd out of the sand I'm happy. I take ATVs and a 4x4 but I can't tow on so I have to use both tracks. I go there to enjoy the area, my toys and my kids - if the new track helps that I'm happy. Lets take eight weeks to enjoy other things in life and get our toys in good shape for spring/summer then go and see if the improvements help us.

Still definitely sucks though!

I'm going to plan it so it looks bigger then the Apple iPhone 4g release. I'll be camping for a week to get back out there laughing

Ditto,

Has any one made the call and just asked.

I Was told back when sydneys camping and caravan show was on that this was going to happen and it is part of a bigger picture were registured vihicles will eventualy access the beach from the south end of the signa, so lavis will just become an rv entry and exit. now that has to be good for all.....
