Not quite what this forum is used to but its worth mentioning.
The development of the National Australian CommuterLite Class of racing is one of the most important developments in road racing ever.
There have been a number of attempts to introduce accessible road race classes in the past but many have been hampered by the interests of manufacturers and promoters.
The National Australian CommuterLite Class is simple, cheap racing that offers an accessible level playing field to competitors. The Bucket Race Association of NSW has extensive experience in developing class rules that work well and the National Australian CommuterLite are the simplest set of rules that the BRA has ever written

The class is already attracting competitors in NSW

And media releases are ready for distribution

This class is racing for everyman, no mechanical knowledge is required, the bikes should be dead set reliable and the only costs competitors need incur are entry fees, club memberships and license fees
A season of racing for chips
Well done the Bucket Race Association of NSW!!!!!
Bikes can be obtained from around $1000 with minor damage to $2500 in excellent condition.

The Bucket nationals are coming! The meeting to end all bucket meetings will take place at Wakefield Park next year. The track has been tentatively booked for the last weekend in September 2011 (24th -25th). A large Interstate contingent is expected because everyone wants to get their hands on Bucket National Title. There is plenty of time to get all Commuterlite, Superlite and Motolite eligible bikes out of mothballs and on the track. Lets throw down the gaunlet and see who is the best Bucket Racer in the country?
Check out all the action, pictures, contacts and information on the Bucket Racing Website. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
