Hi all.
My 04/05 TRX450R is for sale.
It is currently set up for speedway or flat track but I can revert it back to an MX'er if the buyer prefers (tyre and suspension changes).
It is an 04 model I purchased in 05.
The machine has been absolutely faultless all its life, and we were very surprised that it was almost like new inside when QuadSquad pulled it down for a full performance rebuild for speedway.
It is now a very serious 11:1, 467cc engine with a monster torque range.
Less than 5 hours use, including about half an hour of winning every speedway race it has entered on a fresh belray oil change every night (about every 6 minutes run time).
This engine is very easy to ride and honestly in perfect condition.
Rebuilt suspension etc, lots of mods, spares etc.

Thousands spent on Quad Squad engine rebuild and tuning, less than 4 hours old.
Wideline head, 96mm CP 11:1 piston gives 467cc capacity with slightly higher compression but still sensibly conservative.
Bored and electroplated superior to original cylinder (which was perfect).
Secret squirel camshaft, cam chain, clutch etc etc. Anything that wears was done while we were there.
none of it needed doing but we wanted to build a strong motor.
Old piston and parts to inspect (looks new too).
truckloads of torque with something like double the factory figures from right down at idle.
45hp at rear wheels (up from about 28hp stock, have graphs)
Fat bars, risers, Oury grips, Kill switch, shorty levers.
Camber adjustable, 16mm wider track front end with Lonestar ball joints.
Speedway steering modification kit.
Heavily modified standard muffler.
Adjustable rear suspension link.
All shocks just serviced by Quad Squad.
choice of tyres (all good cond).
Customs Air Intake, match ported.
Spare Red rear plastic (one crack / hole LHS but otherwise like new)
New chain and sprockets, plus spares.
Lots of spares and other stuff I can't remember!
levers, front wheel, springs etc.
While this quad can be adjusted to do both Speedway and MX, interested buyers should work out which discipline they would like to focus on.
The quad is currently set up for speedway and in my opinion at optimal spec for such racing.
I will get the shocks rebuilt to MX spec if the buyer prefers to focus that way (but it will sit 32 - 37mm higher for Speedway).
Any serious buyer will not be disapointed
New owner will be impressed.

Nice ride, wish had the money. In the proccess of selling the house and I'm alowed a second bike and this is exacly what I've been looking for.
I guase I'll have to wait and see. It's always about the timing.

| anyone looking to buy a ready to race machine for speedway or flat track or with a few slight alterations even motard should seriously consider this weapon. at the price bullet is asking you are basically getting over twice the machine for half the cash. banshee107 test rode this bike and commented that it's the best handling speedway quad he's ridden, and as far as south aussies go he's spent probably the most time sliding sideways of anyone |

i can't believe this t-rex is still for sale bullet
in case people don't know bullet (although if that's true they've been living under a rock for the last few years) he's got to be the fussiest quadrider in the galaxy, and this former ride of his, bears testimony to extreme fussiness. this would be a machine that honda should buy back and examine the engineering improvements that have been put into it by both the owner and the companies he has outsourced from.
bullet i have no funds to put into an 8th quad at the moment, but if it's still around when my bank account can sustain it, i'll call you |

Dom, I think over time i've created a bit of a monster with a lot of balance in the recipe and final result.
I hope someone is looking for a complete package like this one.
But you might be right... And it might end up being parted out one day.
That would be a bit sad for me, but at least I would not have to struggle so hard to beat my old bike on the track next season
