hey guys - there is a map of how to get to the canberra track on the QRCV website
cheers and look forward to seeing you all there.
For those interested in camping - the qrcv have paid the MNSW for camping permit so all welcome. Saturday night is lots of fun and you Im pretty sure you can stay Sunday night as well and go into town with everyone for dinner.

Hey Kwadrider, good on ya.
I can still remember my first Quad race... I'd had my 6 nervous wees, and I still needed another one when i was on the line.
(I was a young and fragile 36 year old at the time).
Just go and have some fun, you'll soon find where you fit in.
My advise for a first race ever is make yourself as familiar with the track as possible.
Walk or jog the track a few times on the morning and pay attention in the practice laps.

Yeah.....what he said.
Oh, and enter Clubman; you'll find they are plenty fast enough. Last year we had a few NSW racers enter Expert expecting Clubman to be a bunch of vegie riders......not so.
Alot of Expert races are combined with Pro......look the f out.

Just a reminder to all that will be racing at Canberra this weekend....please make sure that you have numbers that are clearly visible on the back of your bike AND on your body armour (or jersey, if you wear an under -armour) so that the lap scorers can score you. While the lap scorers are great ladies, unfortunately they aren't psychics and if they can't see your number you won't receive any points. Thanks[/i] _________________ If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something. |

First off a Big Thanks to all the organisers, what a meet well done I was only a spectator this time and the racing looked awsome.
I have to say thanks to mate of mine "Wolffa" as I wasnt well at all on sunday, it was his first time at a race meet and flaged for 3 1/2 hrs and loved it, bloody hot he said but awsome being so closs to the action.
these are some of the pics he took, we also have some video as well just got to work out how to get it on the computer it wont stream were it has done before.

Team Bullet had a blast and it was great to meet a few more of, and catch up with the eastern staters.
I saw there are some scary fast youngsters popping up around the place.
The new teams looked cool.

congrats to all that helped to put this event together, the QRCV along Rick and Terri Beer. this would have to have been the biggest ATV MX event to date that wasn't a nationals meet. _________________
