the ironman is exactly that, 1 man ! it wont be a team event. so you have to do the 15 laps on your own...

also the production class is missing off the supp regs, so if you have a standard quad you can run this class. just write it in, the supp regs will be updated soon once its included.

see you all there !!

Surprised That should be a good race to watch.
Can anyone tell me the rules and specs for the production class ?,
Is a slip on exhaust ok?
Maximum width?

Hey postie,

You do know its 15 laps of the big track, not 15 of the divi 1 track.

Regards from the Madman.

Hi All,

Two more motels have come on board to offer a discount to people who mention they are part of the quad champs. Both the Mandalay and Bryants Motel are offering a 5% discount on rooms on mention of the quad champs. That makes 5 motels that have come on board to support the quad champs. Call the Mandalay on (07) 46222 711 or Bryants motel on (07) 46223 777.

I have booked Derek Rumble into the Explorers Inn today as they were generous to offer a room to an official coming to the Quad Champs. So don't forget to support thise who support us.

Regards from the Madman.

I am only one man and can only do so much. Had a day off today and spent all day running around doing stuff for the quad champs.

By the way the practice day on the 28th of this month has been cancelled so that the track is in perfect condition for the following weekend.

Regards from the madman.

personally I reckon ride two classes , it's a two day weekend and you get bored between motos in only one class, just use one class to improve the other [unless fit enough to push hard in both Wink ]
And the ironman should be a neat experience , not everday we get a chance to ride for this long amongst this calibre on home soil Smile
So long as i finish on my own steam , and not get lapped twice I'll be happ laughing

The production class still hasn't been added to the supps and i need to know if this is a championship class or a support class? so i know the entry fee!
Also how standard is standard , for example is a slip on exhaust ok, or is it back to the stocko?

the production class has not been approved. Unfortunately MQ do not recognise this class.. Maybe next year.
you should enter the open class and another a,b or c grade also. this will give you heaps of riding over the weekend.

Laughing Sounds like you have the essentials . If you want to test the quad
there's a stock route 2-3 km west of Mitchell on your left, where the cattle have made an interesting pattern [ similar to a mx track] that's good for a putt around Wink
Anyhow have a good trip and we'll see ya's when you get here!
