 |
|
I am currently converting my XR 400 to the TRX 400 electric start.
The only thing I am having trouble with at this time is finding a part number or a picture of what I believe to be a pin that fits into the shift drum and contacts the neutral switch making the neutral light work.
If anyone can help with this it would be appreciated. |

which side of the drum does it go in? there is a pin listed on the parts fiche as 3 x 9.8mm but it looks to be on the wrong side from the neutral sensors.
its not meant to be part of the shift star is it? _________________

You are correct it is on the wrong end, no one seems to have a correct picture of it on the microfiche.
They have different part numbers so I have purchased a second hand one and am waiting on it's arrival. |

| Changed the shift drum and after some other problems finally got the bike to run today, next to tidy up the wiring, adjust a few things and go for a test ride. |
