 |
|
I'm bored on a rare day off so I thought I'd check out some trike vids from you Aussies. I found a handful on youtube but I know there has to be more. Post up some links!
Any of you guys get one of these little GoPro wide angle helmet cams yet? I just got one a couple months ago for $135 shipped on ebay. Brand new in the box. Just search ebay for GOPRO HERO WIDE MOTORSPORTS and you'll usually find a couple cheap sellers. I can't recommend them high enough. I'm so impressed by them I've been evangelizing them all over the place because I want to see more trike footage.
Here's a couple I've done so far. You can see some of the kind of riding areas we have in the southwestern states.

Thanks for the links! There's some good stuff in there for sure.
I'm still very new to the whole video editing/youtube thing. On a couple of the vids you guys posted I noticed something I've been trying to figure out for a while. How the hell do you get that little advertisement for the music to come up without doing the youtube audio swap? I've seen it a few times before where the audio from the trike footage is mixed in with the music instead of a complete swap. I did it with one of mine but some of yours has that little ad at the bottom which keeps the music nazis from turning off the audio on your vid. I have no idea how to do that. Are you mixing in the music in your editor and then linking it to iTunes or whatever when you upload it or is there a way to mix in the youtube audio with your video's audio? The only way I see to add music on youtube itself is to do a complete swap but that wipes out the sound of your trikes. |

I know exactly what you mean. A couple of the vids i made had the audio muted because of there copyright filter so i had to go back and redo the sound which sucked because the video footage was edited to match the audio for the song they wouldnt allow. I edit my vids using Windows Movie Maker, if i remember correctly theres a little volume control knob that allows you to decide how much music/trike noise your final edit has. I add my soundtrack first, then edit visual footage to match. Im not sure how that advertisement pop-up works because on this clip i did... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLRXQj4cNwo you'll notice it has a pop up but if you look down the comments i was asked what song it was as it didnt have a pop up for the first few months.
Oh by the way, thanx for subscribing Doug. _________________

Yeah I use Movie Maker as well and figured out how to mix the music in there. I was just confused by how that pop-up was getting there on certain vids.
There's information embedded in mp3 files that youtube uses to identify songs. That's how they find and delete copyrighted music. In the future I'm going to open the music tracks I want to use in Sound Forge and save them as wav files. I think it might help me fly under the radar. |
