This is an authorised email from Motorcycling Queensland.
At approximately 9.15pm on Friday 29 May, Steve Johnstone’s Motocross Trailer was stolen from Lago Coldstores located at 1235 Lytton Road, Hemmant.
The trailer is white in colour and has a blue 277 number plate on the rear right side. It is a 3 bike enclosed trailer with registration CM5900 and Identification number 6T9T27RO8703P6007.
Inside the trailer was a 2009 KTM 65cc with model Number 89 and identification number VBKMRA2309M048722. A range of riding gear helmets, knee braces, camping gear and tools were all stolen with the trailer.
The Wynnum police have been notified and any assistance in catching the thieves would be appreciated. A reward is being offered for any information that leads to the recovery of the trailer.
Steve’s boy Mitch is devastated as he will be unable to compete in the remaining Queensland titles.
