As you all probably know im building up a really nice '83 ATC250R and i really wanted another trike to ride on a regular basis so im not destroying the chrome and paint on my 250R. Ive also recently gone into a relationship with an awesome girl and i wanted a trike for her so after a little looking i had to decide between an '82 250R, an '85 70 and this 200X that i saw here http://www.ozatv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14396. I have no real plans for it except fix the brakes as it has none, add my newer front red plastics from my 250R and my 8 inch wheels and scorpion tyres add a new clutch cable and give it a good clean. Here's some pics i took of it from my phone.

No idea buddy, i believe they are 8 inches aswell but 1 is flat. My scorpion tyres are 99% and are on polished wheels.

Ya gunna love it mate.200x's are the best all rounder any one can get on em an just ride em but if ya wanna go quick they have abit there to well good for an ol school 200cc fourstroke any way.deffinately a good buy

Thanx Mart, i cant wait to take my girlfriend out to Stockton on it and show her the dunes, im thinking it may be ready to hit the sand within the next 3 weeks which is good because im keen to play in the sand too.

Me and Kate went over to my olds today and did a few things on it. Its cleaning up quite nice. Its really good to see my girlfriend eager to help fix it up too. She's already talking about a pink and black theme and last night i caught her sticking 200X items in my "watching list" on my ebay account which is a pleasant change from diamond rings and platfom boots.

Heres some pics i got of it today, all it needs now is a clutch cable, brakes and a switch block and we're hitting then dunes.

lookin good maTE ill have a look out in tha shed tmoz i might have a cable you can have and my bro has a new guard and seat that was on his 200x he did up years ago and it got pulled apart so now he just has it sittin in the shed im sure he would want to sell it the only thing is its a maier guard which he bought brand new but it was a off colour little bit orange but its all brand new ill get some pics of it im sure hed wanna sell it

Thanx Mart i appreciate it buddy. I think Kate wants to go with a pink and black theme eventually but it cant hurt to have a look. Cheers.

Oh god the ol gf wants pink ay.LOL reminds me of kez they had a ytm 200 that was yellow guess what colour it turned out once i got kez hooked on triken you gussed it PINK

This is what it turned out after the pink bug bit.not fully together thats only photo i could find.actually also if you look on the other 200x you can see the orange guard i was talkin about mate.

And this is how it is today after abit of mart modifying added 250r front tyre and rim and 9 inch rears with paddles actually handles brilliant now lol BLACK BETTY she got over the pink

Them guards and seat look good. Thanx for the pics too... i think mainly black with pink highlights may be the way to go. Probably a good idea to have a look at my Blue trike soon too.

I went for my first little ride on it today. It goes really nice, it spluttered a bit at WOT but im sure its nothing much. I fitted the clutch cable off my 250R to it and a spare 83R switchblock i had. All i need now is a chain tensioner because its missing one on the left right side http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-atc200x-84-us_model7182/partslist/F++1201.html
a set of chain and sprockets because the chain sounds like its jumpimg on the rear sprocket but that could be due to the swingarm sitting slightly crooked, 2 brake calipers and a front rotor.

Sweeeeet! Im also in need of a few other bits if you have them.

1 front caliper
1 rear caliper
1 front disk/rotor
and possibly front and rear master cylinders. (i may use the ones ive got for my 250R )

I also need 2 chain tensioners that go near the front of the swingarm.
or if anyone else has these parts please let me know as shipping from the states is a KILLER!!!

ill dig in the shed tmoz for ya see what i can find.(dont take parts off other trikes if its one thing ive learnt over these triken years is to stop takin parts off your other trikes just to fill your urge to ride other trikes.this is the reason i dont have my complete 250r anymore.

Yeh what is the go with shipping lately its like its just jumped right up everything is so dear to get here.

Good to see you've got a 200x,you and your girl should have some fun with that little beast.
I put a pit bike rear master cylinder and caliper on my 200x and it does the job..

If you have to you could probably make them chain tensioners.Just need some steel plate and a couple of bolts.Drill them out and weld them together....
