Tugalong has recently put here DA in to wingecarribe shire council for hope of reopening this fabulous bike park. If you were planning on going or have been there and was dissapointed in councils decision of its closure. PLEASE either email or write to the council with letters of support for its re-opening.
This park not only caters for quads, but all levels of motorcross and for all ages, its family orientated and only 40 mins out of Bowral. the only reason for its closure in the first place were whinging neighbours complaining about the amount of traffic and the "noise" of the bikes, but after many tests and a few changes and hopefully the support of many keen riders we can help the guys at Tugalong (and ourselves) get back on track! literally!

If your realy keen to get it going you should write a general letter format/content that people can follow and post it here.
That way you give people a better idea of what format and content you are trying to get across to the council and dont run the risk of excited people writing something inadvertantly inapropriate.
It is also good in that it gives people on here an idea of why it was shut and what has been done to rectify those issues.
Just an idea. |

i would write to the council so would a few mates but we wouldnt know what to say apart from,
you stubern council workers open up tugalong bike park again please, we will not be responsible for bikes riding up and down the street cause we have no where to go.

I havent ridden that park but for Sydney siders it sounds excellent. I just wrote an encouraging letter of support to the would be operators with the tone that quads/bike riders aren't all hoons that need to be slowly made extinct through exclusion.
Sorry to sound a bit naive but is noise the biggest concern for residents around that area? |

Just sent the council an email.
I liked Tugalong.
It is irresponsible to be fun police. The result is people, youth with only alcohol and drugs to turn to for some excitement. |
