Its official - the New South Wales A.T.V Club Incorporated has officially been endorsed by NSW Fair Trading. Our objectives for 2010/2011 are to fill the positions of the committee, attract club members, organise race events and recreational riding in NSW and lobby for the approval to allow junior riders to race in NSW. The roles of the committee are yet to be offically filled we need office bearers - President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary. We also need at least 3 general committee members to cover the roles of Race Coordinator, Marketing / Sponsorship Coordinator and Website Coordinator. The application to commence the club was made by Shane Hardiman. Currently Jo is acting as the secretary to get things going. If you are interested in being involved let us know and we will send you some info regarding what each of the roles involve. We will hold a meeting in the coming weeks we will let everyone know when and where.

This is the best news NSW has heard in a long while. Cant what to attend the meeting. Thanks guys for the hard yards that you have put it to get it this far. THANKS.
This will in turn well help with the growth of the sport in nsw and hopefully provide juniors a chance to race or at least attend non competitive track meets.
THANKS again to Shane, Jo and all the people that pushed hard for this in years past. It looks like it starting to go our way.

Good work and good luck....this next part may sound a little disgruntall but baying your head on a brick wall for 4 or more years tires you out..
NSW Quad Bike Club Inc. has been registured since April 2008 withch you would have known when you did the serch ??? it was going well untill all lost intrest. But some how I have kept it going alot of you know this, and relise what I have put into it, all have always been invited to become commitee members, this is when most run..
Prior it was known as NSW Quad bike Club and it even was MA affiliated it was change due to the fact that we had no park to ride in......So it was pointless paying the fees to MA for the affiliation, sorry guys I know some off you had to get your linceces from elsware. With non to little activities or commitment and the same 8 people turning up each time, pointless tacking membership dosnt even cover the MA fees, let alone the web site.

So were is this club upto not much .... I do Recieve phone calls weekly from families looking for a place to ride legally, I take names and numbers for the chance that some day we can have our own ride area that dosnt envolve 3 tanks of juice to get there and back.

Hi Shawn, and my apologies once again: we are being “restructured” (you’ll know what that’s all about no doubt) and we have too few staff to manage client requests.
Nevertheless, I can report some progress. We are doing a status check to verify the suitability of the xxxxxxxxx site I referred to in a previous message. The Minister has received representations from another party seeking Crown land well away from residential areas for noise management purposes, so we are progressing the two matters together.
I will ask xxxxxxx to call you with a view to arranging a meeting, possibly on the site.

The initial objectives of the Club are:
- To fill the committee positions so the club can make progress
- Become MA afflilated
- Lobby for junior quad racing approval
- Organise some riding events and grow our sport in NSW
With comitment and persistance from club members we will eventualy reach a level where junior quad coaching and signing off on licensing can be performed by officals of the club.

hope meeting went well new to sport 6 months sorry couldnt attend tryed to get out of work but doesnt happen all the time all i would like to say is thanks for those that did attend and a race series would be great as above new but quite happy to attend every race meeting that there is or does come about will only be filling numbers but will give it a go hopefully be there at moree depends if can get a quad in that time

Hey Mick, Just wondering if there are any planes to make a mx track for nsw atv club members, cos im finding it hard to find places to ride and ive spoke to heaps of tracks but they dont wanna know about quads n say no straight away.
so yeahr just wondering what planes are on that front
