Well haggletron didn't have a good day today...

Did some usual maintenance things before the ride, lubed the chain, needed a needle adjustment from last time and of course needed the oil level checked... Did all that except the oil, the stick had come unscrewed from the dipstick handle!pulled the clutch cover off, fished it out put it together with locktite and put it all back together. That made me spend 30 mins more on it than I planned.
On the ride from the trailer to the sand the fuel cap fell off, I noticed straight away and found it easy and put it back on. I figured I hadn't put it on properly.
Get to the sand and pull up and stop with everyone... Have a quick chat and then decide its time for a ride... Pull start jams! Mart and I spend 20 mins trying to get it off then my brother comes and kicks it about four time and it comes off... Put it back together... And get a bit of riding happening.
A little while later I'm riding and I hear this rattle/clunk sound so I pull up and look around... Everything seems ok. I go to ride off and get splashed with petrol... Yep the cap off the tank is gone again! Everyone is helping to look for it, 30 minutes later it's found! Make a few mods to the cap so it fits tighter and I'm off again. Short lived though, about 10 minutes later I roll a rear tyre off the bead! Unbelievable. I try pumping it up with a pump and it doesn't help. So I start to ride back (very tricky with a dead flat 22x11x8) and the motor dies! Great. Try pull starting it for at least 10 times to then break the handle on the pull start... And it's still dead... I then realise I bumped the kill switch and it starts first pull. I get it home and try pumping up the tyre and realised the ring is busted that holds the tyre to the bead.

Good times Smile

I was fishing not far from you guys so I decided to call in and see you all on my way home.
I'd never been there before so here I am cruising up the track in the low rodeo Minitruck, I get to the END of the track, get out and walk up to the beach to find no one there. I walk back to the ute, put it in reverse and IM BOGGED! Really bogged! Like sumped out bellied bogged.
Lucky my ol boy was in the area. I called him but his commodore was no help , luckily there was a good samaritan walking his dog along there. He went home and got his Subaru and towed me out.
I tried ringing Leigh but got no answer. Thanx man. Lol
