has anyone tried and succeded to fit an 1982 250r engine in a 1983 250r frame everything lines up in regards to bolting it in the gear sharft is hitting the frame with some home enginnering i could cut a small section out to get it to fit just wondering if anyone else has done this.

Pretty sure foreverthreewheels (ben) a member on here. .his 83 has a 82 engine. .look for his build on here _________________ If in Doubt.. Flat out

Yep, my blue trike has an 82 engine. You just have to install the shifter shaft from the 83 engine. _________________
