What year is it?
I kno these
70 was Parrot
72-73 was mighty
Mighty Green is darker
Parrot green is more like a lime colour
Other than red and green they also came In a light blue not sure of the years

Well basically this all started when I found a websight that indicated which frame/engine numbers represent which year or era, now my frame numbers indicate it as being a 1972 K1 however the engine numbers suggest its a K0 1971, now at first I thought it must have had an engine swap however after talking to John (greenhuman) who I believe has a bit of experience with these, suggested that frame and engine numbers rarely matched with them, which basically left me with the colour to decide, mines definately the darker (mighty) so that will do me, where did you get you info and thanks for the help /input.

I was looking for 1 a while ago I think it was me an you bidding on eBay for the same one ...i did a lot of research when i was looking to buy and a mates dad has a 71 ko with everything matching he knows a lot bout those 90 models
The change of ko and k1 was 71 im guessing they prob just put whatever they had together
The decal on the tank also gives u an idea on what wether ko or k1 but this may have been mixed up , had Honda badge with inch wide stripe most dont still have badge and decals were used, k1 was Honda with fat stripe sorta covered whole side of tank
and k1 had lights

yeah I think I was chatting to you up stocko when I first got it, It was just the conflicting numbers that made me a little uncertain, there are pages and pages of interesting research and model comparisons about on the net, can do your head in trying to restore these when theres 40 odd years of people removing and tampering with things, note to everyone out there leave everything stock, easier for future buyers lol, hey cheers Richie was good feedback. Wink
