This from the Safari web site: Competition categories include AUTO, MOTO, QUAD, SAFARI PRODUCTION and new for 2012, SAFARI CHALLENGE. Adventure tour is a non-competitive category for MOTOs and QUADs. So, with your quad you can either compete or ride the non competitive adventure tour, which still requires navigational skills. Great chance to take a long ride on your quad with food, showers and toilets at every over night stop. Last year was an absolue blast. Man it breaks my heart not to go. I hear there are lots of dunes. My quad eats dunes! But but no $ for fuel, catering and entry.

Quad is all good and I have all the spares I need as well.
