Hey all, does anyone know how to install these plastic guides and distance collars on the inner fork tubes? the inner tube is 41mm and the guides are 39mm i've tried hot water a home made press and nearly got one before it decided to fly across the shed with a big split in it!! not happy
I cant see them going on they just seem way to tight for the inner tube,
It just doesn't seem right the new dampers (which must nearly be the last ones in the world), when lined up to the top bolt hole the bottom of the fork leg is about 10mm of the bottom of the inner tube so in turn after 10mm of travel the bottom of the inner fork leg will bottom out on the lower fork leg which has got me stuffed.
I'm wondering if the previous owner has put on different inner tubes? any ideas thanks |
