Hey Dan , why are u selling your bike mate. ??? I hope everything is okay ??

The main reason SOME bikes on here dont sell is because the owners are not realistic on their asking price.

People think because they paid $10k brand new for a bike that it is worth $8500 a year later.

I have sold more bikes, houses and cars etc and other stuff than the average joe and I have never had any problem and usually sell them within a week or two of listing . U need to do your homework and work out what they are worth.
If a bike retails for $11999, then anyone with a few smarts knows u can buy that bike for $10200 with the right dealer. Its not rocket science.

Therefore those people wont pay that price second hand for someone elses buying mistake. Its all relative.

F!@#in hell dan, i hate 2 say this mate but i saw this coming but i didnt think it would happen so soon. remember when u asked me what u should do as far as buying a quad & i said buy a good second hand bike @ half the price of a new 1 then u wouldnt b under so much strain 2 pay your bills? . your folks pointing out your 2 young 2 have these sorts of items & the fact that u would have run yourself into the ground just trying 2 pay bills off & break even......its a shame its turned out this way....best of luck in the future & im sure there will come a time when u will b able 2 get back into the sport...JB

Hi Dan sorry to hear that you cant afford the bike. The first thing to do is ring yamaha finance and find out your pay out figure. Second thing you may need to send them a letter stating that you wish to sell as the bike is theres. I had a honda on finance and had to sell due to injury and i had to do the above. Good luck

"profanity removed" mate!

how bloody old are you? grow some balls tell your oldies to mind their own business and work smarter not harder or harder if you have to DONT EVER GIVE UP doing something you love . "profanity removed" if your that young you have plenty of time to buy a house.

ive lost a house to a chick and been "profanity removed" over in business maybe after this happens you realise how IMPORTANT it is to do the things you love and not try please everybody else. BUT IF YOU CANT AFFORD IT then your screwed.

since when is yamaha finace 17% my broad got heres at abot 9% to 11% from memory.

try refinancing it at current personal loan rates through a credit union maybe that will ease the pain. Maybe sell the car instead???? you can always find a car capable of getting your quad to where it's gotta go without spending as much as the quad costs
just my 2 cents (or should that be scents?)

Since when is yamaha finance 17% hmmmm let me see, since yamaha took me by the balls because I’m 18 and they knew no one and yes I mean NO ONE else would give me finance. Except for maybe cash converters but I’m not a complete f%^*ING retard. and as for refinancing it with a personal loan place, that’s not going happen, seeing as it would be paid like that in the first place if I had been allowed finance.

Well you had a crack at it and didnt work out "this" time. But when you are selling, dont forget to let the buyer know that the bike is under finace, and should you not get the full pay out figure, you will have find the balance at the same time so as the new owner will get a clean title on the bike. OR....

But instead of whinnging about your situation, like was prev said get smarter and start acting like a grown man. Come on mate so what if you cant ride it, because you have to work 7 days a week. One way to look at is asset building. But we all have been there in one way or another over the years. So in one respect, your doing it not so hard, OR

Then sell the quad, pay out the difference and look back on this part of your life as a bad experiance, OR

struggle now and one less payment after each month and a little closer to owning your bike.... mmmmm I know what I would do in your situation. Your still at home ...? yes/no ? work it out dan and get back into the quads, and have some fun when you can, naturally.

i dont think the fact that you're 18 is the reason you cant get finance. usually financial institutions prefer to lend to young full time employed people as they usually don't have the financial burden of kids and mortgages etc. and the fact you live at home with your folks usually goes in your favor too. i'm guessing maybe you are either already over comitted for your income or your employment is either casual or perhaps even seasonal. would your folks go guarantor for you on a more affordable loan maybe??
anyway it's not really any of my business so i'll clam up on that now, i just hope you are able to sort it out so that in one way or another you still remain amongst the quad riding ranks dude and sorry if my suggestions earlier were at all offensive to you, i was just trying to suggest ways you may not have already considered
good luck

"profanity removed" mate mellow out!

yamaha finance down here is about 9% you would have been better of getting a virging credit card at 12% but hey what would i know.hey no one took you by the balls either you did this yourself they didnt force you to get it.
grow up.
