Would the Quad fraternity competing in Finke think it possible to organise there own fuel stops in 2014 ? Are any interested or think this an idea.

I would proberly fly straight past like a zombie. plenty of signage with the club ones. is it the time or cost factor or would make things a bit more interesting for the crew ? whats ride the divide looking like for 2014 ?

Just a thought, not the cost thing , just being a bit independent. Make 2 stops and thought if anyone was interested would make a good couple of days for some just looking out for quads and any bikes if they were part of quad riders groups.
Have been approached re 2014 Ride The Divide in that we perhaps try and make it a 3 round thing with 2 other venues [ possibly Hervey Bay & Conondale, unless someone else wants to put there hat in the ring ] with each round being a little different , winners of each round and overall. Suggestions like, 1- cross country, 2-thunder x style, 3-enduro. This being for quads and bikes. Lot of organising and some heads out of certain places, so we`ll see what eventuates over the next few months.

I would like to be involved ... but not organiser ..previous bad experience.

What's happening with this Hook? Have you had any luck with organising fuel stops? I might be keen to throw some money towards the crews to use them this year too. If 2-wheelers are allowed? 
Being on a 2 banger this year will mean that club fuel stops will be slower so I would be keen to only do two stops. |

No worries. Ill check the fuel range during pre-running and see if I can do it in one stop. I don't like my chances tho. |
