Brand new in box, only taken out of plastic for pics.
1 x 85 style headlight shell
2 x left radiator shrouds
2 x right radiator shrouds
1 x front fender
1 x rear fender
and a packet of fitting hardware and Maier stickers
These are super rare with only 10 sets in the world and just 2 sets in Australia. (i have the other set on my 83R)
I planned to build a blue watercooled trike but since needing to rebuild the engine on my 83R these have to be sold to fund that.
Maier plastics will make you plastics in any colour BUT you must buy a minimum of 10 peices, so to get a full set of Blue plastics you would have to buy 10 full sets.
That is what a group of enthusiasts did in the USA. They purchased 10 sets as a group and i bought the 2 remaining sets that were never used, only bought to make up the 10 sets.
I bought 1 set and loved the colour so much (Yamaha Reflex Blue) i tracked down the last set and bought them too.
Clarke tanks make the 85/86 250R tank in the exact colour too for around $250.
This set owes me around $1000 so im hoping to get somewhere near that. Im open to offers though.
I know $1000 is a lot of coin but seriously..........
