I just bought a brand new DG expansion chamber, has anyone ever got there's chromed, if so is it worth the money and will it last with the heat?

Hamilton Chrome did my DG. About 250, I recommend throwing a few other parts in aswell.
I burnt my riding pants onto the exhaust after having it chromed and it left an aweful black mark. I attacked it with a wire welding brush. Not a single mark. It's tough.
