Australia Day 2016 Ride!
Putting a call out to all duners...
To anyone keen to get together and ride Stockton dunes with us is welcome to join us.
We'll be meeting in the carpark at the end of lavis lane to leave to go on to the beach at 8am sharp, Tuesday 26th Jan.
We'll have some shade set up on the dunes towards the Signa shipwreck where we will be having a BBQ lunch so bring some snags or whatever.
Make sure your ride is recreationally registered, has a valid permit and you have your rego papers on you.
To get rec rego...
Go to the RTA/RMS with a receipt for purchase of trike/quad (write your own if u have to)
Fill out a form declaring it's safe etc.
Tick the boxes saying it's got
Lights
Blinkers
Horn
Chain guard
Mirrors etc
Fill out a recreational rego form (make sure you tik the box saying it's a 2 or 3 wheeled CYCLE if it's a trike... If it's marked as an Atv/vehicle it will cost a lot more.)
You'll need your engine or vin number too when u go to rta so don't forget to write that down.
To rego a 250 trike for 3 months is around $50 + a one off $40 number plate fee.
Smaller trikes are cheaper.
Quads are dearer.
Then at the service station at the start of Lavis Lane you show them your rego papers and then purchase a 12 month (only comes in 12 months for us) beach permit for $30.
