i wanted to get an idea of how many people would be interested in doing drags on dirt instead of sand. If the numbers are strong then it is something that could be arranged. There would be camping and cabins available at one venue or just camping at another. Both are approx. 3 1/2 hrs south of sydney.

Also time trials on enduro trails can be organised and other fun events for kids through to the big kids over a 2 day period.

depends on the venue, if its binnacrombie i'll give it a miss i think.

it has to be in a central location, the reason stockton is so big is because there are tonnes of quad riders up there.

mmm dont get me started on the pussy footed quad riders who dont like to take their ATV's off the sand. Binnacrombi is one contender but there are others.

ps i know your not a pussy foot ryan

Yeah well if its in a legal area then we can also get magazine coverage and boost the sport more.Alot of people haven't ventured down there to experience it so it just means the atv community needs to branch out and visit new places, imagine riding where you don't need rego or passes and there's no worries of police, rangers or national parks trying to fine you.I've heard so many complain about "THERE'S NO LEGAL PLACES TO RIDE" and when there is it's suddenly not good enough.

If BINNAs was the location we can book the park out for the weekend and have just the atv community +friends go so we have the park all to our selves.

cabins ,camping, rec room, showers, easy to technical riding and most of all a weekend of fun.

central is not and option for keen riders, i meen REDTED comes from orange and thats no where near stockton.so buck up little campers and get into the spirit of things.

i know what your sayin, but its been tried time and time again, people generally arnt really interested in traveling 6 hours to go for a ride.

just saying that if you want it to be a success then try to plan it up near newcastle somewhere, or at least north of sydney.

i have no drama riding on shitty terrain out at binna, just i can do that here at home for nothing and ive never seen a cop/ranger where we head out.

anyone know of any places up north that are similar to binnacrombie?

all three venues are possible, but its not about where you can ride for free its about the atmospere and the whole event.i can ride stoko any time but its better with an organised event.

Count me in too, although I'd rather come for more the social and trail / enduro aspect than the drags. As long as there's plenty of notice (at least a month) I'll be there. Haven't been to Binnacrombie yet, wouldn't mind checking it out.

Cheers, Jeremy Smile
