| Short notice, but anyone in sydney that wants to do a demo on Quads on Boxing day at Fairfield showground ring GUSTY on 0412955514. Basically similar to the stadium race in queensland, oval track with a tabletop . |

how many took part in this? what was the outcome ie did the crowd/riders get a kick out of it etc?
i'd like to get a feel for both rider aspects and crowd acceptance of this type of activity because i'd like to one day help establish a multiple round national speedway event for quads. one whereby a round is held in say 4 different venues and the outcome of that series determines a national champion, similar to solo's. we have been doing a fair bit of rider and spectator evaluation over here for the last 12 months and so far the results are sketchy. it appears there is a reasonable amount of spectator support , and here in adelaide we have little trouble fielding a grid, but i'm not receiving similar stats from interstate sources. (maybe i'm using the wrong sources) |

I didnt go due to the VERY late notice we had, although i think 9 riders ahowed up. Not really sure what the spectators thought, i wouldnt imagine 9 quads would of got the crowd to excited, i really think you need to have 20 quads, similar to the Stadium race, that made it exciting for the crowd and rider !!
I like the idea you have there with a national speedway, any help you need just ask. we have some real good options for a NSW event. |

| 10 quads,had them on display hour or so kids had a ball climbing & getting photos on them. had two jump set up the rest was just the grass infield dug that up abit.grandstands full,fireworks,tank,monster trucksx7,fast 50s,two stunt bike riders doing jumps,jetvan,demmo durby. |

| it's hard to say how many quads is the minimum that will get a crowd excited though coz we had 19 at wayville and the kids in the crowd went off over that to the point that they were trying to hi 5 the riders over the fence before each outing onto the track and on exit. but we only had 8 at an indoor event at the entertainment centre (due to less room obviously) and the crowd loved that too. our riders were signing copies of thumb pump 2 at the foyer afterwards too. |

I heard a rumour about quads & monster trucks at Coffs & Tarree this friday 11/1 & Sat 12/1. 
-Also quads at another event around Gosford on Sat 19/1-the day/night before mx practice/play at Singleton
