Your posts where deleted in this instance due to the unfair nature of your comments. When someone is trying to sell an item.

I think most posts or threads that get to the point were they are deleted are pretty self explanitary in my opinion.

And to be honest, i cant see why i should go to the trouble of sending a PM (even though i do) to a member to explain why.

Only main instances are when someone is just stiring the pot looking for a bite, or is abusive to individuals or companies.

Hope this clears it up,

Ryan

Admin Note:

Moderation is often in the eye of the beholder unfortunately.

If anyone does have any concerns about moderation of their posts, please pm Admin to attempt to have the issue addressed. Unfortunately, in most cases, once a post has been moderated, it can not be restored.

Moderators have been instructed to PM posters when moderating their posts, including the reasons for the moderation.

Posts that include:
- vulgarity
- offensive language
- abusive comments
- excessively negative comments about individuals or companies
will most likely be moderated.

Some of the posts related to this discussion I did not see, but a few of the follow ups I did not think were particularly in need of moderation.

For an example, pointing out that a similar model may be available for $2k less elsewhere I think is providing information to members on the forum. Depending on how that's then phrased then becomes the issue, and then if it turns into a flaming war, I can understand other moderators stepping in.

Patrick
